Edina

I am Gréta Edina Belinszky, Pilates, TRX, Spiral Stabilization, Fascia trainer, one of the two founders of Power Pilates Studio.

As a youngster, ballet, swimming, basketball, tennis, badminton, hiking were all part of my life, and some of them remain so to this day.

As an adult, I got to know the Pilates method, which proved to be incredibly effective for my back pain and scoliosis.

I decided that I wanted to introduce others to this method, and began to teach STOTT Pilates (https://gobertpartners.com/what-is-stott-pilates).

From 2009, and for many years, I studied and worked with Hungary’s only master teacher, and gained professional qualifications in Stott Pilates, TRX, Spiral Stabilization and Fascia training.

This has made me able to provide the widest possible range of services to my clients, and pass on my love of movement while showing you the versatility and effectiveness of Pilates.

„I believe that the Pilates method can be used by everyone, regardless of age, gender or fitness level.”

Heni

I am Henriett Hoffher, Massage Therapist – Pilates, TRX trainer – Fascia, Kinesio tape, Soft tissue manual therapist and co-founder of Power Pilates Studio.

For me, health has always been in focus, and preserving health and preventing disease is the most important thing in my life.

I began my career as a therapeutic masseuse, as I looked for preventive and therapeutic treatments for the musculoskeletal problems of both myself and my patients.

While looking for a challenging and progressive solution, I discovered Pilates as a client and signed up for the STOTT Pilates instructor training after my first class!

After gaining my certificate, I began work as an instructor in my master teacher’s studio, while constantly broadening my knowledge of movement, including fascia, kinesio tape and soft tissue manual therapy.

After training as a therapist, I expanded my professional knowledge with a completely new approach, which means I bring my own holistic perspective both to massage and my
exercise classes.
„I can say that my work is my true love that I can always count on, both for myself and my
clients.”

Us and PILATES

What is PILATES?

Pilates is a system of exercises that gradually builds up the harmonious functioning of our muscles. It teaches body awareness, develops coordination, makes you more flexible in mind and body, and reduces the effects of stress on us.
Born in Germany, Joseph Pilates developed the method after suffering from many health problems in his childhood. Pilates believed that by exercising and strengthening his body, he could overcome the physical and mental difficulties he faced. He tried many things before creating Pilates, which consists of his own series of movements, which by the 1920s he had perfected.

How does PILATES help?

Pilates builds from the inside, from the deep muscles that support our joints, spine, and internal organs. It helps to maintain good posture in daily life and increase our breathing awareness.

Who do we recommend PILATES to?

Strength and flexibility are two of the things that make Pilates truly great, regardless of your age, shape or fitness level, as exercises are personalised.

  • Pilates is also an excellent rehabilitation method after injuries, accidents or surgery, of course after the mandatory physiotherapy and with the approval of the physiotherapist.
  • If you are an athlete, do sitting or standing work, have joint pain, or simply want to get stronger and work on the shape of your most important body parts.
  • Mothers needing support during and after pregnancy.
What is a PILATES session like?

Pilates is a precise form of training that you carry out with the help of a specialist’s instructions, while you get to know the hidden movements of your body.
You can later incorporate some of the movement elements into your daily life. In our studio we can vary these movements, with the help of our machines.

Our services

Spiral Stabilization

This rehabilitation exercise was first developed by Richard Smisek, a neurologist from Prague.

Our clients at Power Pilates not only learn the movements of Spiral Stabilization, but also the effectiveness of daily practice.

The exercises take 20 minutes a day, and can be performed with a special rubber rope with low resistance.

If you have back pain, head pain, spinal hernia, scoliosis, club feet or posture problems, these can be remedied with Spiralis Stabilization in around a year.

You can learn more about the methodology at www.spiralisstabilizacio.com.

TRX

A method of training by using your own body weight. TRX strengthens the body’s skeletal muscles, increases standing ability, explosiveness, muscle balance and stability. TRX also strengthens the heart and circulation and relieves stress.

All this can be achieved with a special TRX rope – and your own body weight!

Body Sculpting

Body Sculpting is a series of treatments based on manual techniques, the primary goal of which is to improve posture and create horizontal and vertical balance in the body. We work by releasing the body’s shortened tissues, which improves joint mobility and the body’s ability to perform, achieving a more energetic state.

Body Sculpting treats the human body
as a connected network, where the changes achieved in individual areas have an effect
throughout the whole body.

The treatment series can be 3 or 12 lessons.

The triple treatment relaxes the fascia, while the 12th treatment also brings a structural change. Horizontal balance, vertical alignment, and adjusting your posture. Both treatments involve self-awareness, as we store our mental blocks in our connective tissue.

Massage therapy

Massage therapy is a form of alternative medicine that involves the manipulation of soft tissues in the body to promote healing, relaxation, and overall wellness.

It is typically performed by trained massage therapists who use their hands, fingers, elbows, and other tools to apply pressure and movement to different parts of the body.
